IPad 2 in Japan Launch Postponed due to Tsunami

Apple has released iPad 2 in America and is scheduled to be released in 25 other countries on 25 March. But the launch in Japan will be suspended in connection with the earthquake and tsunami that struck the country sakura, on Friday last week.

Apple spokeswoman Natalie Kerris said the delay in the launch of the iPad 2 in Japan is intended to allow the state and Apple is more focused to help recovery after a disaster. Naturally because who would think to buy electronic devices that are befalling grief amid the country.

According to Apple, this delay is not related to supply at least iPad 2 and still has not been established in areas where the launch iPad 2 in Japan will take place. Next week iPad 2 will be released in two dozen countries besides the U.S. such as:

Sales iPad 2 in America is very successful and record-breaking sales of the first generation iPad with nearly 1 million units sold within a week. Apple has been collecting donations Red Cross via iTunes to support improvement efforts in disaster-affected areas in Japan. Similarly the Apple store in Tokyo that provides all the facilities and WiFi networks wide open for people to communicate, learn the latest developments, and connect to the outside world.
